What Remains Fundraiser
Join us for an evening to celebrate our ecosystem, community, and our Great Salt Lake.
This event is a chance for you to get involved with issues surrounding the Great Salt Lake by purchasing a ticket whose proceeds will go to Grow the Flow, an organization committed to sustaining the lake, through education, civic engagement, and grassroots organizing.
It will feature our Salt Lake Magazine’s Farm to Glass Cocktail, What Remains, and items donated by local artists and businesses, to be awarded to attendees and raffle ticket purchasers on the night of the event. It will also include installations of video and artwork from local artist and photographer, Joe Roberts, an informational booth set up with members of Grow the Flow to answer questions about their organization and the lake, and the phone booth from GSL Hopeline, which has been funded by the Wake the Great Salt Lake project from SLC Arts Council, where you can call in to listen to sounds of the lake, stories from the public, or to share your own story of the lake.
Each ticket to the event is $25 and includes small passed appetizers, and will run from 5pm-7:30pm on Tuesday, September 30th. You will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for $10 a ticket, both night-of and through our website, for prizes that celebrate local community and climate. Some of the prizes being offered: A flyfishing trip for two with Salt Lake Fly Fishing Co., four tickets to Dear Everything — a climate inspired musical, Omakase for two at Post Office Place, and more! 100% of raffle ticket proceeds will go toward funding Grow the Flow.
This event is a 21+ event! All attendees must have valid ID on them in order to enter.
Can’t wait to host you!
